The National Concert Hall (NCH) redevelopment is one of a number of capital projects in the business case process under the National Development Plan.

The project is being progressed in two stages with works on the old Pathology block (converting this area to a new centre for music learning and participation) due to be completed ahead of construction commencing at the main building. The tender process for this phase is currently ongoing. The redevelopment of the main NCH building is currently in the Pre-tender- Project Design, Planning and Procurement Strategy phase of the Infrastructure Guidelines project lifecycle.
