The School Transport Scheme is a significant operation managed by Bus Éireann on behalf of the Department of Education and Youth.

Bus Éireann has advised that the pick up point in question was assessed by the inspector and a new pick up point was added which was deemed to be a safer location for these pupils. This pick up point commenced at the start of the 2025/26 school year.
