The second payment of the Increased Cost of Business grant and the Power Up grant were aimed at businesses in the retail, hospitality and beauty sectors. Both of these grants schemes closed in 2024.
The schemes were administered by local authorities on behalf of the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, however the Department does not have access to individual applications and does not have a role in determining individual cases.
Decisions on eligibility on individual submissions are made by the relevant local authority.
