To ask the Minister for Health the reason the external retrospective review of children who may have undergone unnecessary hip surgeries has been delayed; if the HSE is still committed to a six month timeframe for the process; the status of the shortlisting and recruitment process for the independent panel; to confirm that the panel will be convened in September; and if she will make a statement on the matter. As these are an operational matter for the Health Service Executive (HSE), the HSE has been asked to reply directly to the Deputies.
