2247. To ask the Minister for Health of all the legal medical claims made against the State in the past ten years, if any of these claims for operations or procedures were made through the TAS scheme; and if so, the number and what was the cost to the State. [45305/25]

In the event a patient is not satisfied with the treatment received abroad under the EU Treatment Abroad Scheme (TAS), they are entitled to file a complaint and seek redress. As the treatment is provided abroad, the legislation of the country of treatment will apply. As a result, patients will be subject to the procedural rules, time limits, rules on burden of proof and damages scheme as applied in the country of treatment.

2248. To ask the Minister for Health the number of patients with scoliosis that have presented each year for the past ten years; the number of these cases that were treated through the public system; and the number treated through private the TAS scheme. [45306/25]

2249. To ask the Minister for Health the number of referrals for scoliosis treatment that have been put in for the TAS scheme; whether this referral done by the consultant-doctor; and whether the HSE have directed consultants to forward patients names and forms for this scheme. [45307/25]
