To ask the Minister for Health to reconsider remarks made in Dáil Éireann on 6 March 2025 regarding the free HRT scheme, specifically the assertion that medication dispensed under the scheme must be for the purpose of alleviating symptoms related to menopause, when no such condition is outlined in the legislation underpinning the scheme; and if she will correct the record to ensure that gender diverse individuals can avail of the scheme and access the healthcare prescribed to them by registered medical professionals on an equitable and affordable basis.
