The following table set out the data requested by the Deputy:

2024 52.2% 47.8%
2025 (to date) 40.1% 59.9%
It should be noted that a significant proportion of fertiliser imported into Ireland from other Member States will have been itself imported into the EU from a Third Country and placed on the internal EU market. The primary sources of fertiliser outside of the European Union are Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
