The person named submitted an application under the Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES) General stream and was approved into Tranche 1 of the scheme, with a commencement date of 1st January 2023.  All payments in respect of their participation in the Scheme in 2023 have been finalised.

With regard to the 2024 Scheme year, I can confirm that an advance payment in the sum of €4,680.99 issued to the herdowner in December 2024 and a balance payment issued 16 May 2025, in the sum of €826.03.

My Department has been in direct contact with the herdowner and advisor in relation to the parcel listed in the details supplied.  This relates to an Extensively Grazed Pasture action which was temporarily withdrawn in agreement with the herdowners in order for the remainder of their 2024 payment to issue.  My Department is aware that a payment in respect of 2024 is due for this parcel and will issue a correcting balance once functionality is in place to do so.  This action will be reinstated for payment to issue correctly in respect of 2025.
