An application for the Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS) was submitted on May 15th 2025 for the Reps. Of William Dowling.
The Inheritance Enquiry Unit within the Direct Payment Division of the Department have received the required documentation from the late Mr Dowling's representatives, to allow payments to issue to the estate.
Overall processing of 2025 Basic Income Support for Sustainability (2025) has commenced with advance payments due to issue on 16th October and at this stage the application in question is clear for payment.

The person named submitted an application under the Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES) General stream and was approved into Tranche 2 of the scheme, with a commencement date of 1st January 2024.
Payments are now up to date for this herd. Full payment in respect of scheme year 2024 issued on 28 August 2025, in the sum of €7,311.00.
Payments in respect of scheme year 2025 are expected to begin in Q4 of 2025.
