Between the 1 January to 22 August 2025 the number of cattle slaughtered within 20 days of being presented at a mart (whether sold or unsold) was 110,734, the number of cattle slaughtered within 30 days of being presented was 128,031. This data was extracted from my Department's Animal Identification and Movement (AIM) database on 23 August 2025.
