1677. To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality if his Department has met with an organisation (details supplied) regarding its pre-budget 2026 submission and associated position paper on supporting Irish business with digital compliance; if his Department has assessed the merit of its proposals; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that my office has received the pre-budget 2026 submission and associated position paper referred to by the Deputy and an acknowledgement has been issued to the organisation.

Neither I nor any officials of my Department have met the organisation in question regarding this submission.

The Deputy may be aware that the Digital Transition Fund, under the remit of Enterprise Ireland and the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment helps Irish companies with their digitalisation journey.

With this in mind, the Deputy’s question would be more appropriately addressed to that Department.
