I propose to take Questions Nos. 1465, 1466 and 1467 together.

A welcome to and support for people fleeing the war in Ukraine was shown by the people of Lisdoonvarna and other areas in Co. Clare and nationwide since 2022. Since that time, need for accommodation for people from Ukraine has reduced across the country.

There are currently five accommodation centres in the Lisdoonvarna area providing accommodation for people fleeing the war in Ukraine, or for international protection applicants.

Below is a table outlining the number of people accommodated in Lisdoonvarna who are under temporary protection or applying for international protection. Information is provided at a point in time at the end of 2022, 2023 and 2024, and approximately August 2025.

My department does not publicly detail the location of or occupancy in specific centres providing accommodation to people from Ukraine or for international protection applicants, in the interest of the privacy and security of residents and providers. It is also to protect the privacy of international protection applicants in line with legal obligations under the International Protection Act 2015.

Insofar as the financial information sought is concerned, my Department does not collate this information for the specific geographic area in question.
