The delivery of Housing is at the centre of the updated National Development Plan (NDP) which provides for unprecedented levels of investment for housing and water infrastructure.
Overall investment of over €40bn will be provided for housing and related water services in the period to 2030. This investment will underpin the new Housing plan which will be published shortly and which will set out a sustainable platform for the accelerated delivery of Government housing commitments.
My Department publishes the Social Housing Construction Status Report (CSR), which provides details of social housing developments and their location that have been approved and are completed, are under construction or are progressing through the various stages of the design and tender processes.
The most recent publication was for Quarter 1 2025. All CSRs are available at the following link: www.gov.ie/en/collection/cb885-social-housing-construction-projects-status-reports/.
A version of the CSR file can also be downloaded for analysis by local authority, location etc. at this link: opendata.housing.gov.ie/dataset/social-housing-construction-status-report-q1-2025.
My Department does not hold the information requested regarding judicial reviews or planning appeals. This information may be available from the local authorities directly.
