I wish to advise the Deputy the school has been granted capital funding for the provision of 5 SEN classrooms and repurposing of existing accommodation under the Department’s SEN Reconfiguration and Modular Accommodation programme.

This programme involves the use of Project Management supports which is designed to enable the accommodation to be provided as quickly as possible and help ease the administrative workload for school authorities in relation to the management and delivery of projects.

Kerrigan Sheanon Newman Project Management (KSN) has been appointed, from the Department’s Framework to design and tender the project and oversee all elements of construction.

I am pleased to advise that repurposing works to improve the school's existing accommodation have been completed. The target date for completion of site works associated with the installation of the modular accommodation is the 22nd of September. There are a number of days required following this date for statutory approval to enable the occupation of the building.
