To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to respond to media reports of data centres located in Ireland being used to "plan deadly airstrikes and shape military operations" by a unit of the Israeli occupying forces against the people of Palestine (details supplied); and to outline whether his department has engaged with the data centre owner on the matter. As Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment I have responsibility for policy associated with the role of data centres under Ireland’s Enterprise Strategy. My Department does not have any details on data stored by data centres in Ireland.
