I propose to take Questions Nos. 537 and 538 together.

I am advised by Revenue that the revenue accrued on an annual basis from inheritance tax in each of the years from 2020 to 2024 can be found in the link below: www.revenue.ie/en/corporate/documents/statistics/receipts/cat-receipts.pdf

I am further advised by Revenue, in relation to question 46124, that Beneficiaries are not required to provide these details on the Form IT38 Return for gift(s) and/or inheritance(s). As such, Revenue does not have any data from which to provide a response.
