3170. To ask the Minister for Health whether her Department has a policy or goal of better insourcing of IT requirements and needs of the Department for better cybersecurity, autonomy and crisis management; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [43680/25]

Comprehensive arrangements are in place to support ICT security through specialised software to mitigate against malicious threats, and to provide early warning notifications of same. Incident response and Business Continuity plans are in place and systems are fully monitored, providing for a rapid response to any notified incidents.

My Department strives to use internal resources where possible, filling roles through the public appointment service, while also recognising the need for external expertise where necessary.
