My Department operates a devolved procurement function whereby each business unit is responsible for the procurement of their own goods, services and related contracts. Service providers are invited to submit tenders, for a fixed term, in response to a clearly defined set of requirements.

The successful tender is selected on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender which includes cost, quality and other relevant factors to specific requirements. Each contract is managed by the relevant Unit on an ongoing basis.
