To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government the details of the capital funding programmes or grants which his Department or any body under his aegis has responsibility, for which sporting organisations are eligible to apply for; the details of any funding programme or grant that is currently open or the date when a subsequent prospective funding programme or grant is scheduled to be opened for which a sporting organisation is eligible to apply for, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 256 and 257 together.

The details requested in the Question in relation to capital funding programmes or grants for which sporting organisations and community organisations are eligible for, and for which my Department has responsibility, are set out in the table below. It should be noted that a number of the programmes detailed fall simultaneously under both capital funding programme and grant schemes.

In terms of agencies or State bodies under the aegis of my Department, the information sought in the Question is an operational matter for each of the State bodies concerned and, as such, it is not information held by my Department. It is suggested that the Deputy contact the bodies directly in relation to this matter. Contact details for each body are set out in the table below.
