2301. To ask the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality the timeframe for a review of a case by Tusla (details supplied). [41326/25]

I wish to advise that following receipt of a request, the Tusla CEO assigned the Office of the Chief Social Worker to review some individual case files. Information was shared by the group/parents from March-June 2025, and the reviews have commenced.

The reviews entail a desktop review of the child's file from the point of engagement with Tusla to present, and explores areas including practice followed, care planning, and reunification planning.

The review referenced by the Deputy is at the final stage and will be completed by 1st August 2025. The report will be shared with the Tusla CEO for review and consideration will be given as to whether any further action is required. The Tusla CEO has committed to meeting the mother of this young person on receipt of the review.
