2300. To ask the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality to review correspondence (details supplied); to outline the supports available on rents for a family resource centre; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [41307/25]

I would like to thank the Deputy for raising this issue. Unfortunately, neither my Department nor Tusla have additional supports available specifically for Family Resource Centre rental costs. In addition, neither my Department nor Tusla have a dedicated budget for capital or building works for third party organisations.

I have been informed that in 2025, funding allocated to Teach Oscail from the local Tusla office is approximately €254,721. In addition, the organisation receives €178,221.21 in FRC Programme core funding and €4,821.87 in dedicated counselling funding.

I am also aware that, in recognition of the challenges you have raised, Tusla approved a once-off supplementary allocation to Teach Oscail of €16,400 in 2024 towards rent relief. This was sourced through end-of-year funding.

I would suggest that the Local Authority be considered as a starting point for any requests regarding rental supports or capital funding.
