2227. To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to provide an update on an outstanding agri-climate rural environment scheme, ACRES, payment (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [43640/25]

The person named submitted an application under the ACRES Co-operation stream and was approved into Tranche 1 of the scheme, with a commencement date of 1st January 2023. This participant requested to transfer to a Registered Farm Partnership in April 2023.

I acknowledge the difficulties created for the person referred to, and for other ACRES participants, who have not yet received their balancing payments for 2023 pending the necessary changes being made to my Department's IT systems. However, the necessary work is nearing completion, and is expected to be in place in the coming weeks, at which point the outstanding payments will be processed.

I can assure you that everything is being done to pay, as soon as possible, all ACRES participants who clear pre-payment checks.
