As part of the governance and oversight of the Climate Action Plan process, the Department of An Taoiseach publish, on a quarterly basis, progress reports on the status of the actions within the Climate Action Plan (CAP).
These reports are available online: www.gov.ie/en/publication/55fde-climate-action-important-publications. These include detail on the specific actions and progress updates.
For CAP 2025, the Q1 report has been published and highlighted that three legacy actions were completed and the Q1 action, AG/25/1 (Launch a 60% grant-aided Nutrient Storage Scheme to support reduced reliance on chemical fertiliser) was completed. The CAP report for Q2 is being prepared and will be published by the Department of An Taoiseach in Q3.
