2120. To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality if he will review as a matter of urgency the refusal of a visitor's visa for two persons (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [43614/25]

I advise the Deputy that the visa applications referred to have been refused and this decision was upheld by the Visa Office on appeal. The reasons for the refusal of the appeals were outlined in a letter issued on 29 May 2025.
I appreciate that this decision has likely caused disappointment. However, I can advise that is still open to people concerned to apply again for an Irish visa in the future. Their prior immigration history is a matter of record but any future application will be assessed on its own merits taking all relevant information into consideration.
Guidelines to assist individuals making visa applications are published on my Department's website. Applicants that carefully follow these guidelines have an improved prospect of receiving a positive decision.
