I am advised by the Irish Prison Service that this matter has been extensively reviewed on a number of occasions by senior management. The outcome remains unchanged and this has been communicated to the individual concerned. As Minister I can confirm that while I have been briefed on this matter, I cannot comment on the detail of individual cases.
