1958. To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality to engage with the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade to ensure that a humanitarian worker (details supplied) is evacuated from Gaza. [41236/25]

In common with the position for all non-EU nationals, entry to the State by Palestinian nationals is subject to the existing legal immigration pathways. It is possible to apply for a visa and for permission to remain in Ireland based on a variety of different reasons, including employment, education or a family relationship.
Details of these legal pathways can be found on the Immigration Service website at the following link: www.irishimmigration.ie.
While the Government has approved a medical evacuation programme for up to 30 sick children from Gaza for treatment and care, following an appeal from the World Health Organisation, more general special arrangements along the lines referred to in the details supplied by the Deputy are not in place.
