My Department collects, collates and publishes data on social housing delivery on a quarterly basis. The Social Housing Construction Status Report (CSR) provides details of social housing developments and their location that have been completed, are under construction or are progressing through the various stages of the design and tender processes. It also includes details on when the projects commenced on site. The most recent publication was for Quarter 1 2025. All Construction Status Reports are available at the following link: www.gov.ie/en/collection/cb885-social-housing-construction-projects-status-reports
A version of the CSR file can also be downloaded for analysis by local authority, location, project status etc. at this link: opendata.housing.gov.ie/dataset/social-housing-construction-status-report-q1-2025

Local authorities, including Wicklow County Council, have published 5 year Housing Delivery Action Plans setting out their affordable housing delivery targets up to 2026. Additional affordable homes will also be delivered by the Land Development Agency (LDA), Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs), via the higher Part V requirements introduced in the Affordable Housing Act 2021 and via the First Home Scheme. A copy of Wicklow County Council’s plan is available on its official website at the following weblink -
www.wicklow.ie/Living/Services/Housing/Housing-Delivery-Action-Plan-2022-2026
Affordable Housing delivery reports based on quarterly returns received from local authorities, including Wicklow, and covering all delivery partners are published on the statistics page of my Department’s website at the following link: www.gov.ie/en/collection/6060e-overall-social-housing-provision/?#affordable-housing-delivery
My Department, in conjunction with the Housing Delivery Co-ordination Office of the Local Government Management Association and the Housing Agency, is continuing to advise and support Wicklow in developing further affordable housing schemes.
