I propose to take Questions Nos. 1286 and 1287 together.
Works to secure the site and remove redundant temporary accommodation is being undertaken at the site of the former school building in Carraig na bFhearr as part of the preparatory work associated with the proposed repurposing of the building. Engagement with Uisce Éireann is also continuing as part of this process. Every effort is being made to advance this project as quickly as possible in conjunction with the Project Management and Design Team assigned to the project.
The school will be temporarily located in available school accommodation in Fermoy pending the completion of repurposing works at Carraig na bFhearr and the school can open in September as planned.
