I understand that my Department has clarified with the Deputy's office that the school to which he is referring is Belmayne Educate Together Secondary School (ETSS).
Phase 2 of the new permanent building for Belmayne ETSS, which includes the delivery of accommodation for an additional 320 students, including a special education needs (SEN) base for students with special educational needs, has an estimated completion timeline of Q3 2025. It is intended that the new Belmayne Community Special School will occupy this SEN base when it opens in the new school year. My Department is liaising closely with the school's patron to support the opening of the new school.
