922. To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the amount spent by his Department and State bodies under its aegis on travel and subsistence in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and to date in 2025, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [42463/25]

The total spent by my Department and our Offices and Agencies on travel and subsistence in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and to date in 2025, is set out in the tables below. These amounts also include expenditure in relation to both domestic and foreign travel, including costs of flights etc.

I would advise the Deputy that responsibility in relation to Tourism Services, including responsibility for the state tourism body Fáilte Ireland, was only assumed by my Department in June of this year. Unfortunately, it has not been possible to supply the requested travel and subsistence information in respect of the tourism bodies now operating under our aegis within the time frame of the Deputy’s question. I have, therefore, referred the Deputy's question to the tourism bodies for direct reply within 10 days.

I would advise that the expenditure as outlined below incurred in the nature of official business and was expended in line with official guidelines in the area of travel and subsistence.
