I propose to take Questions Nos. 822 and 823 together.

The Deputy may wish to note that a limited call for applications for sponsorship opportunities to enhance Communication and Visibility of EU Cohesion Funds will close on 21 August 2025.

The aim of this fund is to provide, on a trial basis, a very limited level of financial support to NGOs and other local and or community based organisations with the objective of reaching citizens to communicate and enhance the visibility of the EU Cohesion Policy Funds in Ireland. The overall total available is €20,000, for a range of qualifying events and activities across the country, with a maximum award of €4,000 for any individual proposal.

Further information and the application form can be found on www.eufunds.ie.

Under the Special EU Programmes Body, the PEACEPLUS programme is a north south programme for Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland. PEACEPLUS Changemaker Grants are small grants are geared towards smaller community organisations to support the delivery of people-to-people projects. A rolling call is now open for grants between €10,000 and €20,000. Calls for grants of up to €100,000 will open on a phased basis over the duration of the programme period and are anticipated to amount over 10% or almost the full remaining value of the programme. Sporting and Community organisations are eligible to apply for PEACEPLUS funding. Further information is available at www.seupb.eu.

There are no such capital funding programmes or grants administered by the bodies under the aegis of my Department.
