To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform to provide the total number of grant payments issued by the Department in each of the past five years, along with the total value of those grant payments for each year, in tabular form; and to confirm whether these figures include all schemes and discretionary grant programmes administered directly by the Department or through its agencies. The Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) is a cross-border North South Implementation Body, established on foot of the Good Friday Agreement and jointly sponsored by my Department and the Department of Finance in Northern Ireland (DoF NI). SEUPB's primary responsibility is the management and implementation of cross-border North South EU funding programmes, including the 2014-2020 PEACE IV and INTERREG VA programmes, and the 2021-27 PEACEPLUS programme. My Department and DoF NI jointly provide funding for programme technical assistance and SEUPB running costs.
