The OPW is currently preparing tender documentation to procure a specialist Technical Consultant.

Once appointed, the Technical Consultant will inspect all matters relating to pyrite affecting Shannon Garda station.

The Technical Consultant will publish a detailed study based on testing, analysis and evaluation of the defects observed in the property and thereafter, they will make recommendations for appropriate remedial works, in accordance with all relevant National Standards Authority of Ireland standards.
