I am advised by Revenue that they have no statistical basis for compiling estimates in relation to a potential wealth tax. It is therefore not possible to provide the information requested by the Deputy on the estimated annual revenue from a wealth tax levied at 0.5% on assets over €1 million and 1% on assets over €2 million.
