My Department recognises the importance of cybersecurity, autonomy, and resilience in managing its IT infrastructure and services. As a core element of our technology strategy, the Department has established a dedicated cybersecurity team composed of experienced civil servants. This team works in close collaboration with leading cybersecurity vendors and platforms to ensure the protection of Departmental data and systems.

In addition, the Department’s internal Crisis Management Team engages in regular tabletop exercises to maintain preparedness for responding to emergencies at sectoral and national level. This CMT structure and defined response procedures enhance our capacity to respond to disruption and supports continuity of operations.

While my Department continues to engage external expertise where appropriate, we are committed to strengthening internal capabilities where it improves security, autonomy, and responsiveness.
