The Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme (ORIS) provides funding for the development and enhancement of outdoor recreational infrastructure such as walking trails, cycleways, water-based recreation sites and mountain trails. Over the last three years, funding of almost €2.2 million has been approved for 39 projects in County Cork.
The attached table outlines the details of funding drawn down for projects in County Cork from 2022 to date. This includes funding drawn down for projects approved in earlier years. In total, funding of €2,590,190 has been claimed during this period.
