My Department operates two capital funding programmes for sport, namely the Community Sports Facilities Fund (CSFF) and the Large Scale Sport Infrastructure Fund (LSSIF). The Department has not received applications for funding toward pop-up pools in the past year.

In 2021 Swim Ireland was awarded funding for a pop-up pool and the ancillary equipment for another pop-up pool as part of the Sport Ireland Targeted Equipment (SITE) scheme . Any question is relation to the pool should be directed to Swim Ireland, the National Governing Body (NGB) for swimming. All NGBs are independent, autonomous bodies and as such, are responsible for their own governance and operational matters, including the operation and deployment of its facilities and equipment.
