It is the intention of An Garda Síochána to construct a new Divisional Headquarters for the DMR North Division, incorporating an enhanced custody suite for the DMR and a number of specialist training facilities for An Garda Síochána.

A number of sites including the Dublin City Council site at Northern Cross are under consideration.

Once a preferred site is identified the Office of Public Works will attempt to acquire this site. Once this site acquisition process has been completed the OPW, in conjunction with An Garda Síochána, will be in a position to progress the project.
