I am advised by the Commissioners of Public Works (OPW) that the Garda station at An Rinn, Co. Waterford is an operational Garda station and the OPW has not been advised by An Garda Síochána that the property is surplus to their requirements. The occupation of operational Garda stations is a matter for the Garda Commissioner to determine in accordance with the operational requirements of An Garda Síochána.
