I propose to take Questions Nos. 622 and 607 together.
The Rural Regeneration and Development Fund (RRDF) is a major capital investment programme which seeks to support large-scale, ambitious projects which can achieve sustainable economic and social development in rural areas.
The objective of the Fund, which was launched in 2018, is to support coordinated and integrated projects between our local authorities, other public bodies, community and enterprise partners. The attached table provides details of the funding amount allocated by local authority area for the years 2018-2025.
It should be noted that each RRDF funded project must have a designated Lead Party. In a number of cases, projects with a Lead Party within one local authority area may also involve other partners and activity in other local authority areas. In these cases, the full RRDF allocation is recorded against the local authority area of the Lead Party. Details of all allocations made under RRDF together with project information can be found on the Department’s website.
