133. To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 251 of 3 July 2025, if he has ever requested that the providers or delivery partners of home ownership support schemes supply anonymised, disaggregated application and approval data, specifically covering variables outlined in previous parliamentary questions; if not, if he will write to the relevant providers to seek this data; if his Department does not intend to do so, if he will provide the relevant contact details in order that I may follow up with them directly. Further to the response to Question No. 251 of 3 July 2025, the information requested is not currently compiled or sought by my Department.

As indicated in the reply to Question No. 111 of 25 June 2025 my Department publishes programme-level statistics on affordable housing delivery activity by local authorities and delivery partners in each local authority area at the following link: .

While the Minister and the Department have a policy and funding role in relation to affordable housing matters, the administration of each publicly-funded development and housing scheme is a matter for the delivery partner concerned. A Department working group has been established with a view to centralising, streamlining and standardising the current application process across the various affordable housing schemes, with this work is at an early stage.

Arrangements have been put in place by all bodies under the aegis of my Department to facilitate the provision of information directly to members of the Oireachtas. Accordingly, the Land Development Agency may be contacted at: oireachtas@lda.ie

Additionally, contact information for the various local authorities, Approved Housing Bodies, the First Home Scheme and the Local Authority Home Loan can be found at the following links:

Lastly, the Help-to-Buy initiative is a Revenue administered scheme, for which the Office of the Revenue Commissioners is best placed to advise.
