My Department received a proposal for a new ERO for the Security Sector from the Labour Court on 19 June 2025.

I have confirmed that I intend to sign a new Employment Regulation Order for the Security Industry: Minister Dillon approves new Employment Regulation Order for workers in the security industry - DETE .

The Order will amend the 2024 Order already in place for the Sector and will commence on 22 July 2025. It will provide for a new minimum rate of pay of €15.41 per hour for workers in the Sector from that date onwards. The Order will be published on my Department's website shortly.
