To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of permits the Dublin Airport Authority issued to taxi drivers to pick up customers at Dublin Airport in 2024 and to-date in 2025; the criteria that must be met prior to being issued a permit from the DAA; and the amount of revenue generated for DAA from issuing these permits in each of those years in question, in tabular form. As the Deputy will be aware, daa has statutory responsibility to operate, manage and develop Dublin and Cork Airports. As such, matters in relation to the management of taxi permits are a matter for daa.
I have therefore forwarded your question to daa for direct reply. If the Deputy does not receive a response within ten working days, please advise my Private Office.
