169. To ask the Taoiseach further to Parliamentary Question No. 117 of 1 July 2025, the reason confidentiality must apply to the 114 countries mentioned from which Ireland imported less than €1 million worth of goods in 2024; the number of these countries which exported less than €600,000 worth of goods to Ireland in 2024; and the total number of countries from which Ireland imported goods in 2024. I wish to advise that the reply issued by the CSO to Parliamentary Question No. 117 of 1 July 2025 incorrectly referred to a confidentiality designation relating to countries from which Ireland imported less than €1 million worth of goods in 2024. No confidentiality designation applies to this information, and it is available on the CSO's publicly available statistical database PxStat and is also provided in this reply in addition to the information requested under Parliamentary Question Reference Number 39004/25. The CSO sincerely apologise for this error.
