I am informed by the Central Bank of Ireland that the latest data available on high-cost credit providers is for the year ending 31 December 2023.

The total number of loans advanced by high-cost credit providers during the year 2023 was 228,185, and the total value of loans advanced during that year was €146,340,047.

I am further informed that the data for 2024 is currently under review by the Central Bank of Ireland.

Comprehensive information on high-cost credit providers is published on the dedicated section on the Central Bank of Ireland’s website.
