Over the past three years, and including the current year to date, my Department has supported colleagues in developing their legal expertise relevant to their roles. A total of 21 legal study courses have been funded by the Department, comprising 10 third-level qualifications and 11 legal related courses.
In addition to these structured learning programmes, staff have also benefited from informal learning opportunities. These include seminars, conferences and in-house legal lectures focused on specific legal topics, all aimed at deepening subject matter knowledge.
I attach a table setting out the information requested.
