The attached table provides provides the details requested as it relates to Departmental employees for legal study programmes in the last three years.
My Department operates an Educational Support Policy and Procedure which provides refund/advance of staff fees and the provision of study leave in line with the relevant civil service circular (23/2007)
DCEE staff can make a business case under the DCEE Professional Development Request procedure, for short courses which fall outside of the above scheme and circular. The provision of study leave would not be applicable for these courses. In addition, the Department also provides support for CPD initiatives, such as conferences.
