Since the establishment of the Community Centre Investment Fund (CCIF) in 2022, my Department has provided approximately €110 million for the enhancement and refurbishment of existing community centres and the construction of new centres.

I understand an application has not been received under the fund in respect of a facility in Fairhill.

I would encourage community groups in Fairhill and elsewhere to explore the potential for funding under future iterations of this fund or possibly other schemes operated by my Department including the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund, the Town and Village Renewal Scheme or the LEADER programme. Details of each scheme are available on my Department's website.
