To ask the Minister for Health whether she will conduct a retrospective audit to discern the level of harm which has occurred due to vaginal mesh implants before considering the lifting of any pause on the use of such products; and whether she will follow up with individuals who have previously received mesh implants to check on their clinical wellness as part of such an audit to inform any decision on the future use of such implants. To ask the Minister for Health if she will ensure that all alternative options to vaginal mesh implants are available, such as tissue slings, before considering the recommencement of mesh implant services; and if she will ensure that processes to achieve full informed consent, including awareness of the level of harm which has occurred, will be in place ahead of any recommencement of mesh implant services.
