To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the number of purchase orders processed by his Department in 2023 that were not included in the published reports of purchase orders over €20,000; the number of purchase orders excluded due to their value falling below the €20,000 threshold, and the total combined value of those purchase orders; and the number of purchase orders excluded because they related to transactions other than for goods or services, for example, grants-in-aid or reimbursements, in line with reporting conventions. The total number of Purchase Orders processed in 2023 was 3,147 with a value of €76,552,530.31.
Of these, 2,650 purchase orders were not included in published reports. The value of these purchase orders was €13,921,575.63.
497 were included in published reports as they exceeded the €20,000 threshold. The value of these purchase orders was €62,630,954.68.
Purchase orders that were processed related to transactions for only goods or services.
